Want to take card payments online? Connect your own Stripe account. The money goes straight to your bank — Renterra never takes a cut of your bookings.
Cards are optional. Every Renterra account starts in cash mode and can stay there for good. Connect Stripe only when you want to accept cards online.
There are two separate money flows, and it's worth understanding both:
In short: we take no percentage of your sales. Card processing fees are Stripe's standard rates, paid to Stripe, on your own account.
Renterra uses Stripe Connect, which means your account stays yours — your payouts, your dashboard, your control.
Once Stripe is connected you can collect security deposits at the time of booking and handle balances through Stripe. See Deliveries & deposits for how to set deposit amounts.
You can change your payment mode in Settings → Payments at any time. Many owners run a mix — cash for local will-call, cards for deliveries and larger events.
Card acceptance requires a Stripe account in good standing in a country Stripe supports. Processing fees are set by Stripe and charged on your own account.
